When you install and use our App, we collect the following information:

• Store Information: Your Shopify store domain, store name, and store owner email
• Product & Content Data: Product titles, collection names, and page content to generate contextually relevant blog posts and internal link suggestions
• Blog Content: Blog posts and articles you create, edit, and publish through the App
• Settings & Preferences: Your default language, tone, length, brand voice, and other configuration choices
• Usage Data: Actions you perform in the App (posts generated, images created, SEO analyses run) for analytics purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Generate AI-powered blog posts tailored to your store's context
• Provide SEO analysis and optimization suggestions
• Generate and upload featured images to your Shopify store
• Provide internal linking suggestions based on your store's products and pages
• Maintain usage analytics for your dashboard
• Improve and optimize the App
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to deliver its features:

• Groq (LLM Provider): Your blog topic, keywords, and store context are sent to Groq's API to generate blog content. Groq's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Replicate (Image Generation): Post titles and topics may be sent to Replicate to generate featured images. Replicate's privacy policy applies.
• Shopify: We interact with your store via Shopify's Admin API to publish articles and upload images.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in an encrypted MySQL database. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with:

• AI/ML Providers: Groq and Replicate receive only the minimum data necessary to fulfill your generation requests
• Hosting Providers: Infrastructure services that host and operate the App
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we have stored about your shop
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your blog post content

8. GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We have implemented all mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks (see Section 13).

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the App is installed on your store. If you uninstall the App, your store data (blog posts, settings, usage logs) will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

10. Cookies and Tracking

The App uses session cookies required for Shopify OAuth authentication and embedded app functionality. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

11. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

13. Shopify GDPR Webhooks

We have implemented the following mandatory GDPR webhooks as required by Shopify:

• customers/data_request: Upon request, we will provide a report of any customer data associated with your store
• customers/redact: Upon request, we will delete any customer data associated with a specific customer
• shop/redact: After you uninstall the App, all your store data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
